Tour ... the Schoolroom
Edwardian Childhood collection features in the SchoolroomOn the upper landing is the Schoolroom where the Governess sometimes teaches two little boys. School caps hang on the chair (from Meon Cross school, near Titchfield) and a boater from Sevenoaks School in Kent. Check the maths on the blackboard .. is it correct?.

The Schoolroom features the Edwardian Childhood Collection, a truly delightful range of money boxes, plates, mugs, bowls, egg cup plates and wall clock, all gift boxed. They are reproduced from original copper plates discovered in the Spode archives and are patterned with the toys and games of a golden age. They make absolutely ideal gifts for little people and are especially popular for christenings.

In the left side of the picture above is the Blue range. Until recently there was also a Coloured range, also shown, but this has been discontinued. We are keeping the picture in the hope that Spode changes its mind.

Blue Edwardian Childhood remains one of Tussie Mussie's best sellers ... customers often come in and pop upstairs without a word, find the gift of their choice and then bring it downstairs to be wrapped.

Ask Pam ... she'll know the answer!Sometimes, people have a lot of questions about Edwardian Childhood. If you have some ... ask Pam now. Otherwise, to continue our tour, let's go into the Attic Bedroom.
